Inspired by the long necklaces worn by nobles of the 16th century, this pendant celebrates the art of gardening and the harmonious relationship between humanity and the natural world.

The trowel charm is hand-carved from jeweller's wax, then cast in bronze using the ancient lost wax technique. The raw casting is then meticulously filed and polished to achieve a rich, golden shine before being adorned with a large teardrop pearl - a gem championed by both Elizabethans and Jacobeans.

The pendant hangs from a long rope of hand-strung, gravel-like pearls, further illustrating the horticultural and historical inspirations behind this unique heirloom worthy treasure.
